Hi there! I’m Lainey Wilson, a clever and resilient little lady who was rescued out of a tree in Portsmouth. After a rough start, I had to learn how to “kitten” — how to play, relax, and trust that I’ll always have a full belly and a safe place to nap. Spoiler: I caught on quick!
I’m friendly and social, though I like affection on my own terms — but when I decide it’s cuddle time, my purrs are totally worth the wait. Most days, I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing, whether that’s bird-watching or playing with my favorite toys.
Speaking of toys, I love wand toys, spring toys, and especially my foster dad’s Navy boot straps (those are extra fun!).
I’d do great as a solo kitty or with another cat friend to keep me company. I haven’t met dogs or kids yet, but with slow, proper introductions, I’m sure I could adjust just fine in the right home.
