Caleb should not be here. He was scheduled for euthanasia at the county shelter because his back legs were genetically wonky — splayed out so badly he could barely use them. But everything else about him? Absolutely perfect. Sweet, gentle, loving… just born a little different.
Our vet splinted his back legs for weeks. Week after week, this tiny kitten just kept trying. And somehow… it worked.
Caleb uses his legs now. They’re not perfect, but they’re his. He walks on them. He climbs. He runs so fast. We joke that he kind of tiptoes everywhere, and it’s honestly the cutest thing you’ll ever see. If you didn’t know his story, you’d just think he’s a happy kitten doing happy kitten things — because that’s exactly what he is.
And his personality? Total angel baby. Beyond friendly. Incredibly sweet. The kind of kitten who makes you stop what you’re doing just to sit with him a little longer. He loves other cats, does great with dogs, and even hangs out comfortably around rabbits. He just wants to be included and loved.

All of our animals come with health records and are dewormed, have age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, all cats are FIV/FeLV tested, and all dogs over 6 months are heartworm tested.
In order to be considered as an adopter you must:
* Be 21 years of age or older
* Have identification showing your present address
* Agree to a home check
* Be able and willing to provide a loving, safe and peaceful environment for this pet
* Be financially stable and willing to provide any necessary medical care
Once you have filled out an application, your application will be reviewed. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet and greet and home check via the email address provided.
