My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Baddy was brought in by his previous owner on October 9, 2025.

Why this pet is the one for you:
When Baddy first came into our care, he was fearful and unsure - overwhelmed by all the changes around him. But everything started to shift once he settled into his foster home. With time, patience, and his sister Fluffy (AID 969589) by his side, Baddy has truly begun to blossom. This chatty boy now greets his foster with gentle headbutts and meows, confidently chases toys around the house and regularly seeks out company - following his foster from room to room. Baddy is deeply bonded to his sister Fluffy, and this sweet duo is looking for a home together. Baddy will need a patient, understanding adopter who can give him a confined space and time to settle in at his own pace. But once he feels secure, he'll reward you with affectionate nudges and sweet companionship. Baddy has previously lived with a dog and may do well with a calm, respectful canine friend after slow introductions. Because of his sensitive nature, he would do best in a home without young children. If you're looking to welcome a loving pair into your home, Baddy and Fluffy would be thrilled to start their next chapter with you - together!

At SDHS:
Baddy has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!

Shy/Fearful Cat: Baddy and Fluffy require a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
