At just 7 years old and pocket-sized, Forrest has already lived a life that was far harder than any dog deserves. He came to us very sheltered, having known little love or affection. But that chapter is behind him now, and we are determined to make sure the rest of his life is nothing but soft beds, gentle hands, and a heart that finally feels safe.
Forrest is a sensitive, cautious boy who needs a bit of time to trust new people. But once he decides you're his person? He is glued to your side. He loves snuggling, being close, and soaking up every bit of love he missed out on for so long.
And treats? Forrest says yes to all treats! Because he has lost all his teeth due to previous neglect, soft treats are his absolute favourite.
He gets along well with dogs and currently lives peacefully with three others. Cats are okay too—as long as they don't try to rub on him or snuggle up uninvited. Older, calm children would be just fine for him.
Forrest is searching for a very special, patient human who will help him navigate this big new world, give him the security he's never had, and welcome him into a quiet, loving home. Someone who will offer soft blankets, gentle snuggles, and of course… lots of soft treats.
