My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Homi is a domestic shorthair tortie female who is approximately 8 years old. She is currently in foster care.

Meet Homi! Homi would do best in a calm home where she can be the only pet as she really values her peace and quiet. She came to the shelter after her previous owner couldn’t care for her anymore, and now she’s ready for a fresh start with someone who understands her gentle, thoughtful nature.

Homi is independent and a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. She loves finding a cozy spot to curl up in, especially her favourite bed, and will happily spend time relaxing near you.

Homi is the kind of cat who doesn’t need constant attention, but when she chooses to come over for snuggles, it feels extra special.

If you’re looking for a calm, clever companion who’ll love you in her own quiet way, Homi might be the perfect match.

Homi is spayed, fully vaccinated with RCCP and rabies, FIV and FeLV negative, microchipped, and on parasite prevention. Her adoption fee is $300. To adopt, please submit an adoption application found in the drop down menu on our website.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
