Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ruby – High-Energy, Loving, and Loyal!
Ruby is a ball of energy and the most enthusiastic dog in our rescue. She would chase a ball all day if she could! Because of her high energy, Ruby would thrive in a home with a couple of acres where she can run and play to her heart’s content.
While Ruby is a homebody at heart and loves her people, she can be a little reactive to new dogs and strangers. Once she gets comfortable, she’s quick to warm up. She can also be a bit jealous of other dogs when she’s used to being the center of attention. But with some reassurance and structure, she settles in just fine and has done well with over 10 other rescue dogs at the ranch.
Ruby was previously adopted by someone who took her everywhere, and all the new people and dogs overstimulated her. She’s much happier in a more stable environment with familiar faces. Ruby’s incredibly loyal, and she’ll keep her eyes on you all day, either saying “I love you” or asking, “Please throw the ball for me!”
She’s professionally trained and knows the E collar, so she’s well-behaved but would do best in a home with consistent routines and clear boundaries. Ruby would also do great as an agility dog—she’s got some serious jumping skills!
If you think Ruby might be a good fit for your life, send me a text at 435-559-8705. You can also fill out an application at Diggs4dogs.com. She’s ready to be your loving, loyal companion!
