My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zara is a domestic shorthair black female who is 3 months old. She is currently in foster care with her brother Zack!

Meet Zara! This gorgeous little girl is the cuddlebug of her litter. Zara has quickly become the queen of snuggles, she starts purring the moment you look at her!

Zara loves to play, wrestle, and chase toys with her brother and sisters, but her absolute favourite place in the world is curled up in your lap, happily purring herself to sleep. She’s affectionate, gentle, and has the kind of warm, loving personality that makes every day brighter. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion who will melt your heart, Zara is your girl.

Zara would like to go to a home with her brother Zack or to a home with a young cat or dog friend to match her energy level.

Zara is spayed, microchipped, on parasite prevention, and vaccinated with RCCP. She will still need her rabies vaccine when age appropriate which will be the responsibility of her adopter. Her adoption fee is $300 or $550 as a pair with her sister. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
