Nova is a shy but incredibly sweet little girl who just needs a bit of time and patience to show her gentle heart. Once she warms up, Nova reveals herself to be one of the kindest, most tender kitties you’ll ever meet. Though she can be a bit hand-shy at first, she truly enjoys soft pets and cozy snuggles once she feels safe and loved.
Her favorite toy is a large fluffy pom pom, which brings out her playful side and helps her confidence grow. With the help of her energetic foster sibling, Spunk, Nova has been learning to be braver every day. Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
