Fernando may technically be a 15lb Chihuahua, but if you ask him he’s 150lb of confidence with the attitude to match! He fully expects the world to treat him like the heavyweight champ he is, even if he runs around on four tiny little legs. Titles he accepts: “Tough Guy” “Boss” Titles he rejects: “Peanut” “Lap Dog” No purses. No costumes. No being carried like a baby. Respect the swagger!
At 5 years old, this pint-sized powerhouse is searching for a calm, low-traffic home with one special human who understands that trust takes time. He keeps his inner circle exclusive — he can count his besties at the VAO on one paw — but once you’re in, congratulations: you’ve gained a fiercely loyal little shadow.
Fernando struts on his daily walks like he owns the neighborhood and keeps pace with the big dogs without breaking a sweat. What he doesn’t love? Chaos. Crowds. Kids. Basically anything that challenges his inner peace or personal bubble. In the right home, Fernando is a comedic, affectionate sidekick with a skyscraper-sized personality packed into a teeny weeny body. If you’re looking for a tiny dog with major main-character energy, Fernando is ready for his starring role — by your side.
