Chad was born July 2025. He is now a full fledged do my best to get into as much trouble as possible teenager.
When he was a tyke he and his brothers learned to unroll a full roll of toilet paper no matter which direction it was installed. These days he isn't as interested in the toilet paper so it only gets unrolled on occasion and even then only a few feet of it before he finds some other distraction.
Like all juvenile kittens he loves to jump on surfaces and see what little 'toys' he can swat to the ground to play with. If his foster mother tries to reprimand him, he will happily grab such toy and run away with it hiding it somewhere which can take some time or days to locate.
Chad loves to cuddle and will often jump on the chair and lay on the arm when his foster mother works on the computer. He can also be a bit chatty and squirmy. He does not like being enclosed so can be a bit noisy in the carrier when being transported and when enclosed in the bedroom for his two feeding times of the day. He also swats at the flex latch hanging from the door handle of the room to help him make even more noise. He is the one waiting at the door to run out once feeding time is done and the door is opened back up.
Chad is a wonderful kitten. He can be a bit squirmy to handle when not in cuddle mode, always looking for a toy to play with. He is more cautious when guests show up so will hide and watch what is going on, but has allowed himself to be petted after some time though won't approach of his own accord. He can be coaxed to play a little with a dangly toy and absolutely loves the softball toy with bell, though often gets it stuck under the dresser and will stare at it waiting for his foster mother to fish it back out for him.
To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
