Meet Mario — the little survivor with a heart full of hope.

Mario came from a place where very few kittens ever make it out alive. When we first found him, he was drenched from the rain — small, scared, and shivering. We didn’t even have a foster home open, and we tried to TNR him… but we just couldn’t do it. There was something in his eyes that said “please, don’t give up on me.” So we broke our own rule and made it work — and we are so glad we did.

At first, Mario was so shy. People had let him down before, and he wasn’t sure he could trust again. But slowly, little by little, with the help of his best friend Yoshi, he’s learned that love can be safe. Now, he’s a gentle, soft-spoken boy who will tiptoe toward you when he thinks you’re not looking — and when he’s feeling brave, he’ll rub against you for pets and melt for chin scratches. Churus are his weakness, and love is his reward.

Mario doesn’t have to be adopted with Yoshi, but he does need a kind kitty friend to help him stay brave. After all he’s survived, this little fighter deserves to finally know what it means to be home. 💛
