Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Putter Tat, a beautiful and spirited cat with plenty of purr-sonality in search of a loving new home! Putter Tat is known to become overstimulated easily, so she's looking for a calm, predictable home with humans who understand feline body language. When her tail starts to twitch, her fur bristles, or she gives a little hiss, that's her way of saying she needs a break. She thrives when she's allowed to say hello and goodbye on her own terms. Because of her sensitivity, Putter Tat would do best in a quieter home without the hustle and bustle of young children or lots of visitors. A cozy space where she can retreat and decompress will be key to helping her feel safe, especially when you first bring her home. When she's especially content, she'll roll onto her back, give herself a full grooming session, and sometimes drift off for a quick little snooze right there - it's beyond adorable. Once she feels secure, she's happiest just hanging out and keeping you company. Putter Tat will benefit from light exercise to help her stay fit - she's currently working on shedding a few pounds to feel her best. Her ideal adopter will be patient and calm with a big heart for a feline who values her independence. When it's time to bring her home, please bring a large, top-loading carrier to keep her safe and comfortable on her journey!
At SDHS:
Putter Tat has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home!
Overstimulated Cat:Putter Tat requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her.
