Meet Casper — our stunning snow-white gentleman from West Union, IA! This medium-haired beauty spent quite some time on the streets asking for help before finally making his way to safety. He was originally TNR’d, but it quickly became clear that Casper didn’t want to live life outdoors — he’s got his heart set on being someone’s spoiled indoor companion.
Casper is still adjusting to indoor life, but he’s already showing what a total sweetheart he is. He loves pets, has a steady purr motor, and shows major lap-cat potential once he feels safe. He’s incredibly polite, always uses his litter box perfectly, and greets you excitedly when you walk into the room.
He can be a little nervous at first, and he’s great at communicating when he needs a short break — but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll be rewarded with endless affection and trust.
Casper would do best in a calm home with adults or older, respectful kids who can give him space while he continues to blossom. Once he settles in, you’ll see just how much love this gorgeous boy has to give.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
