Meet Nelson, a handsome and enthusiastic young boy who's ready to find his forever family! This lovely boy was found as a local stray near North English and, sadly, was never reclaimed. Estimated to be around 1.5 years old, Nelson is possibly a Labrador Retriever mix—we suspect he may have a touch of Red Heeler based on his unique, beautiful markings and the charming speckled spots on his legs.
Nelson is the definition of an active boy; he is absolutely ready to 'go, go, go!' and would thrive with an owner who enjoys an energetic lifestyle, be it jogging or long hikes. What truly sets him apart is his wonderful disposition toward people: he is oh so friendly and incredibly affectionate, thriving on human interaction and attention, and he has yet to meet a stranger!
We are still getting to know all of this boy's personality & quirks! We will be working on introducing him to other dogs to test his compatibility with canine companions soon, and also hope to check his reaction to felines. We know for certain that this handsome, friendly fella won't be with us long!
