Meet Macy!! This gorgeous, fun-loving, long-legged, dark-haired beauty was found as a stray on the street, cowering under bushes, trying to stay cool during the hot Houston summer. In her foster home, she is sweet, energetic, and loves snuggling with her humans (she’s a lap-dog wanna-be, and she’ll sleep on the bed if allowed).
She is also part of a pack of six dogs - two puppies, two middle-aged and one geriatric dog – and she gets along great with everyone. Macy frequently initiates play with her canine foster siblings, resting and playing again.
Macy’s current favorite toy is a wooden stick from the backyard, but she also enjoys fuzzy and noise-making toys, as well as bones and antlers. She likes to fetch, sometimes to return the toy and sometimes to play hard-to-get. Life is a game to Macy!
Macy rides well in the car, is very food- and treat-motivated, and is learning to "sit pretty" and other obedience commands. Macy’s ideal home would have a playful pup companion or perhaps some children and a dog door to a big fenced-in back yard.

Macy’s $200 adoption fee includes the spay, vaccines, microchip, negative heartworm test, negative fecal test, and monthly prevention for heartworms and fleas.
