Fun Facts About Me: •I am a big-hearted friendly gal who is affectionate and am very fond of humans; I will come up and say ‘hi’ when you are near me •I am quite active and athletic so I will need daily physical and mental exercise to be at my best •I love going on walks to explore and commune with nature but must confess that I pull a bit on the leash; my exuberance just comes bursting out •I am comfortable in a crate and in my previous home I had one fixed up real nice with a comfy cozy bed, a couple toys and a long-lasting yummy treat; I would spend time in my little den when I was alone and at bedtime •I am intelligent and know the cues for ‘sit’, ‘come’ and ‘kennel-up’; I would love to do more training with you to increase my vocabulary of human words •I like car rides and loved accompanying my human wherever they went; I was tethered in place so they could concentrate on driving •I am house-trained; my previous person had me on a schedule so that I had plenty of opportunities to get outside •I have been described as quiet and a wee bit stubborn but mostly as “very well behaved” •I am a playful girl and I really enjoy a rousing game of tug #2

You call back the next day which gives us time to review the application and gives you 24 hours to think about your decision to adopt. You can also complete our on-line application and get approved in advance of finding the perfect companion. Once approved, you are able to adopt an animal the same day.
