My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flogg is a sleek, black-furred "miniature panther" who transitioned from a tiny, bumbling explorer into a majestic and loyal companion. Originally arriving at the shelter as a brave but clumsy kitten, he has traded his fearsome-sounding name for a life of endless cuddles and playful mischief.
While Flogg possesses a bold and confident personality—often "slaying" shoelace dragons or investigating new territories—his true nature is one of pure sweetness. He is a professional at "making biscuits" on soft blankets and is known as the shelter’s loyal shadow, frequently greeting his favorite people with trilling meows and acrobatic leaps for affection. Bold yet affectionate; a perfect blend of a brave explorer and a "warm loaf" snuggler. Highly companionable; he actively seeks out human interaction and thrives on quality time. • Fully socialized, playful, and ready to bring his "engine of contentment" (his purr) to a forever home.
Flogg has outgrown his tiny storm cloud beginnings and is ready to be the center of your world. To offer this charming gentleman a permanent position in your family, view our adoption gallery to get started. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
