My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️
💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟

Meet Ivy🌷
💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_everyday

1.) Health Condition
* Spay: Incomplete.
* Microchipped, and undergoing treatment for heartworm
* Has a bald spot on her side. There’s no scar and she doesn’t have a skin problem.

2.) Rescue Story
* Ivy was living with her puppies at the Gimje City Shelter. The shelter was full of homeless animals and there was even less support and care available during the long Korean Thanksgiving holidays. Adogs urgently rescued Ivy and her puppies so they wouldn’t have to spend the long holidays alone and neglected.

3.) Basic Information
* With People: Warmly greets even strangers. Likes sticking close to people and has a lot of love to give.
* With Dogs: Is a bit guarded with new dogs, but relaxes quickly. Is aloof but gets along with other dogs without problems.
* With Cats: Hasn’t met them yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Unclear, since she’s living communally at our center.
* Potty Training: Unclear, since she goes potty outdoors at our center. May need training in a home environment.
* Walks: It hasn’t been long since she’s arrived at our center so she hasn’t been on walks yet.
* Car Sickness: Didn’t show signs of motion sickness when transported to our center.
* Hasn’t bitten, but more observation is needed to check her reaction during grooming and in new environments.
* Barking: Hasn’t barked or whined.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
