Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fern is an affectionate, curious, friendly, and playful pup who’s learning all about being an inside dog. She was found in the woods abandoned with her sister, but she’s made an amazing transition to MN life in a home.

Fern loves playing with other dogs but also knows how to respect the resident dog when he’s done playing with her. She enjoys all her toys, but the only thing she loves more than playing is getting love and attention from people. When she thinks she's about to get some love, she'll immediately roll over to show her belly and her tail starts thumping with excitement! Her love of attention has made training easy as all she wants to do is please.

Fern is learning the ropes of potty training, leash walking, and crate training, and she’s doing great with all of it. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night and hangs out there off and on during the day, staying quiet unless she really needs to potty.

Fern is full of joy, sweetness, and playfulness—and she’s ready to share all of that with her forever family.

Fern is estimated to be 5 months old and 21 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
