Meet Scarface

This boy is the definition of puppy perfection. Scarface is sweet, playful, and full of love, not to mention his unique coloring and that irresistible puppy breath for days.

Energy and Personality
Scarface is a cheerful little guy with an adorable patch over one eye and a face that could melt anyone. He is affectionate, cuddly, and loves both people and dogs. He enjoys romping around, chasing toys, and then snuggling under the blankets when it is time to rest. He sits so well, loves attention, and is eager to please.

Training and Behavior
At only 10 weeks old, Scarface is learning everything about the world. Potty training is a work in progress, but he is quick to watch and copy what his older foster sister does. He is smart, curious, and motivated to please, which makes him a joy to teach.

Social Life
Scarface loves playtime with dogs and people alike. He is affectionate and gentle, soaking up every bit of love that comes his way. His happy spirit and big heart make him easy to adore.

A Lucky Beginning
Scarface’s story is one of luck and love. He and his brother were found at a local post office, rescued by a kind mail carrier who scooped them up before they could be hurt. Covered in fleas and needing care, the brave little brothers made their way to us and are now thriving.

Now they are ready for the best delivery of all, a forever home.

MEET AND GREETS

We primarily rely on meet & greets for potential adopters. Approved adopters may meet adoptable animals at the home of the animal's foster, or possibly in the adopter's own home.

More about this rescue

Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. rescues dogs of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters reducing the numbers being euthanized daily. We provide foster homes where they can get the love and attention needed before finding their forever homes. Our organization provides pet adoption services in Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, and parts of Southern Pennsylvania. Operation Paws for Homes, a 501(c)(3) organization, is 100% donor funded and could not save these dogs and fulfill their dreams of being united with their forever families, without the dedication of our incredible adopters, fosters, donors and volunteers. Sadly, without our help, all of these adoptable animals would face almost certain euthanasia - usually within days or hours of arriving at the shelter. Each year we take in hundreds of wonderful animals who were left at shelters by no fault of their own.
