**Special Needs**
Ora is our 5 year old wonderful special needs beardie. She has presumed muscular dystrophy. Ora doesn't walk, she sort of, slithers. She occasionally gets flipped over on her back and needs assistance getting back over. Ora is in a 40 gallon enclosure and tends to stay in just a few spots. She could potentially go up to a 75 gallon enclosure as long as everything stays low to the ground. She eats dubia roaches and superworms, most of the time she needs to be tong fed. She'll occasionally eat her greens but needs assistance with those as well. We do use an escape proof feeder bowl for her feeders but normally when she tries to eat from it she just knocks it over. Ora has a partial slate tile substrate to help absorb her overhead heat. We don't ever recommend heating pads for beardies, but especially not for Ora as she may not be able to move herself away from one if it gets too hot. She loves to have a soft blanket or towel to lay on and does occasionally climb a little higher on her hammock. She'll require overhead heat and a t5 10.0 or 12% linear UVB. Ora is very inquisitive and loves to look around. She does well with handling although we do make sure to be careful not to hurt her. We don't truly know how much time this beautiful girl has left, she is ready for a forever home to live out her best years.
