If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Almost a year ago, we adopted Wynn from TCRAS after she was found as a stray in a Walmart parking lot.
She’s about 1.5 years old now - a sweet, affectionate, high-energy girl who loves being close to her people. Wynn is eager to please and thrives on attention, but she has a strong prey drive and resource guarding tendencies, which led to her injuring our other dog. After a lot of thought and heartbreak, we’ve made the difficult decision to rehome her.
Shelters are unable to take her due to the number of similar cases, but we’re hopeful to find the right home - someone who is patient enough to help her grow and ready to give her all the love she deserves.
