My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penny & Pistol – The Perfect Frenchie Bonded Pair! 🐾
Looking for two lovable French Bulldogs to fill your home with personality and joy? Meet Penny and Pistol, the sweetest duo around!
Penny is a calm, gentle soul who loves attention, belly rubs, and cozy naps. She’s happiest
snuggled up beside you or strolling outside when the weather is cool. Penny has an easygoing personality that makes her a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a relaxed and affectionate pup. She is 4 years old and 19lbs. She is on special hydrolyzed protein dog food.

Pistol, on the other hand, lives up to his name! He’s full of energy, always ready for playtime, and especially loves chasing balls around the yard. He’s also a total foodie — mealtime is his favorite time of day! Pistol brings fun and excitement everywhere he goes and loves being part of the action. He is 2 years old and 20lbs.

Both dogs are affectionate, loyal, and full of personality. While they have their own unique quirks, together they balance each other perfectly — Penny’s calm nature complements Pistol’s playful spirit. They are bonded and must be adopted together.

No small kids or swimming pools unless fenced off.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
