My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoebe is in a foster home searching for her forever family! If you are interested in meeting her, copy, paste, and complete the link below. This will be sent to the foster family for follow-up:

You can also call or text the Lifesaving Team at 864-467-3985.

Phoebe is a shy-but-blossoming young girl who has made incredible progress in foster care. She started out skittish and unsure, but is now affectionate, playful, and loves cuddling with her people. Many everyday things are still new to her, so she’s looking for a patient, supportive home that will help her continue building confidence. Phoebe enjoys toys, zoomies in the yard, and playing with other dogs. She’s learning basic skills, loves affection, and is truly coming out of her shell more each day.

—Best suited for: House with a fenced yard
—Training: Knows her name and sit; mostly housetrained; learning crate skills
—Alone time: Very limited so far; crated when unsupervised and prefers the crate on her own terms
—Leash manners: Still learning; hesitant and not ready for walks yet
—Energy level: Medium—playful with bursts of puppy energy, then enjoys cuddling
—Personality: Affectionate, Curious, Goofy, Playful, Shy but improving
—Favorite activities: Playing with toys, Zoomies, Cuddling, Playing with dog friends
—Fun facts: Has had a huge confidence glow-up in foster care; household sights and sounds were brand new to her, but she’s adapted quickly and now seeks out pets and affection with a happy wagging tail.

Adoption includes vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, microchip, heartworm test, and spay/neuter.
