My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jumpy is another gorgeous tabby boy with striking markings and soft, thoughtful eyes. True to his name, he can startle easily, but he’s always watching and taking everything in.

Jumpy is still learning that people can be safe and gentle. He’s more reserved than his brother Squeaky, but he has a tender heart and makes quiet progress every day. In a patient, low-key home, he’ll continue gaining confidence at his own pace.

For someone who understands that trust is earned, Jumpy will be incredibly rewarding.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
