My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Nikki Finn, a sweet and curious little kitten with a playful spirit and a heart full of potential. I love chasing toys, pouncing on imaginary friends, and exploring every corner I can find. Life is one big adventure, and I'm always ready for the next one-as long as it comes with a cozy spot to nap afterward!

I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once I feel safe and comfortable, my gentle personality starts to shine. With a bit of patience and love, I just know I'll blossom into a confident, social butterfly who loves attention and companionship. If you're looking for a playful friend who will grow right along with you, I think we could make the purr-fect pair!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
