My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We found Rubi (2 years old) living in an empty field and coming onto our property. We chose to adopt her after taking her to the shelter, and we've had her for a year. She is a very loving girl who wants to cuddle and be close with her people, and she gets along with our female cattle dog and older male chihuahua. Being outside to play, lounge, and explore is very important for her. Rubi does require anxiety meds to help with anxiety related behaviors. They come out as occasional accidents in the house, licking, nail biting, and clinginess. She does better when she isn't left alone for extended periods of time. We have tried crate training, but she did not respond well and it made her anxiety worse. Rubi needs regular outside access to combat any potty issues. We think she was abandoned, and we are hoping to find a solid home with consistency, dedication, and love to prevent further abandonment trauma. Please give her a chance and see what a great pup she really is!
