Meet Amber (Amber-Eyed Goddess) ✨

Amber is a stunning 2½-year-old American Pit Bull with the most gorgeous amber-colored eyes—the very reason she was given her name. One look at those eyes and you’ll understand why she earned the title Amber-Eyed Goddess.

Amber’s journey hasn’t been easy. She was found as a stray in May 2025 and picked up by animal control while very pregnant. She quickly went urgent, and although her microchip was traced, no owner ever came forward. We welcomed her into rescue in June 2025, where she safely gave birth to her puppies. Amber was an incredible mama—loving, patient, and devoted. Her puppies have since grown, been weaned, and headed north to another rescue to find their forever homes. Now it’s finally Amber’s turn.

Amber adores people and is truly the life of the party. She loves to run and play, give hugs and kisses, and flop around on the couch soaking up attention. She’s also fantastic with other dogs and would do great in a home with canine friends or as an only dog where she can soak up all the love.

🐾 Important (and hilarious) Amber facts:
Amber believes food tastes better when it’s dumped all over the floor first, so mealtime may come with a bonus cleanup session. And fair warning—she has never met a soft bed she didn’t feel personally called to shred. Plush beds beware. This goddess prefers her comfort… artistically rearranged.

We haven’t seen Amber around cats yet, so we’re unsure how she’d do with them. She should do well with children, as she’s incredibly sweet and people-loving.
