My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ginger appreciates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. She will likely need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that she go to a home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior. Ginger may be intimidated by small children, and would do best in an adult-only home.

A volunteer writes: Ginger arranges her bed and blankets with dignity and pride, then waits right at the front in hopes someone will see. When you love people as much as Ginger does, it makes you stand out but even so she's been waiting since October to find her forever family. Ginger was brought to us when her guardian could no longer care for her and in her efforts to figure out where she can fit in the larger shelter picture has found that all she can do is politely ask. She races over to the front when she sees someone look her way and chirps out offers for cuddles. Headbutting and snuggling, her cuddles are unparalleled and, like everything else, she gives it her all. The one thing she's really hoping to share, however, is her heart.
