Adoption Prerequisites: All animals in your home over 6 months of age must be spayed/neutered All animals in your home must be current on vaccinations All current/past dogs in your home must be current on heart worm preventative and have a history of providing the medication year round All adoptions to residents of the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex only Vet check is required for all adoptions Our Adoption Process: Step 1: If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, the first step is to complete an online application by going to roadtrip4paws.com and clicking on the Adopt tab to find a link to our application. Step 2: After we receive your application, we will review it to ensure it meets our adoption criteria and do a vet check to verify your current and/or past pets are/were spayed/neutered, to date on vaccinations and up to date on heart worm preventative year round. Step 3: After completing our pre-adoption process and vet check, we will contact you.
