Meet Josie. She is a 6 year old, female, Beagle/Pug mixed breed. Nothing about Josie's life has been easy. She barely escaped a Southern kill shelter and deserves to spend the rest of her days with a family that cherishes her. Despite all she has been through Josie is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gentle. Our staff and volunteer team are completely in love with her. She does well in the car, walks well on a leash, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and cherishes every moment outside of a kennel. Please help us find her happy ending by sharing.

ADOPTION INFORMATION

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
- Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.

- We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
- We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

Helpful reminders:
*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
