This little cookie, estimated to be about 3 years old and weighing 18 pounds, has had a rough start but is finally getting his chance to live the good life. He was originally found as a stray wandering the streets with no one to call his own. The kind people who found him took him in and tried to locate his owners, but when no one came forward they brought him to us so we could make sure he got the care he needed and find him the home he truly deserves.
Biscotti arrived with ulcers in both eyes, and after a thorough exam, it was determined that one of his eyes couldn’t be saved. The other has some scarring, but he can see just fine from it and it doesn’t bother him at all. These days, Biscotti has fully embraced his new “pirate pug” life - one eye, endless charm, and a permanent wink that could melt any heart!
Don’t let his past fool you though this boy is full of life! He’s playful, curious, and always up for an adventure. Biscotti loves zooming around the yard, going for walks, and soaking up every bit of attention he can get. He’s also highly food motivated (emphasis on highly), and he’ll become your new best friend the instant he spots a treat in your hand!
Biscotti does great with other dogs and enjoys being part of the pack. While he’s got plenty of energy and spunk, he also has a soft, snuggly side and loves a good cuddle session once he’s tuckered out. After everything he’s been through, Biscotti is ready for a fresh start filled with love, playtime, and cozy naps with his favorite person. He’s a happy, resilient little guy with a heart as big as his appetite! Could Biscotti be the sweet addition your life’s been missing? Please inquire today!

More about this rescue
Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
