Maggie is an 18-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a heart that’s pure gold and a spirit that refuses to be dimmed. This stunning girl has been through more than any pup ever should — she survived a terrible act of cruelty when someone poured acid on her back. But here’s the thing about Maggie: she’s not letting her past write her future. Her scars tell a story of survival, but her heart tells one of forgiveness, hope, and joy.

Despite everything, Maggie greets every person she meets with a wagging tail, bright eyes, and that unmistakable “happy to see ya!” GSP grin. She’s living proof that sometimes the best way to move on is with zoomies, kisses, and a whole lot of love.

True to her breed, Maggie is an athlete at heart — she loves to run, swim, and even knows how to dock dive! Give her a ball or a squeaky toy, and she’ll turn playtime into an Olympic event. She thrives on activity and would be happiest with an adopter who understands the GSP breed and can keep her mind and body busy.

Maggie is great with people big and small, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and while she hasn’t met any cats yet… let’s just say, with her pointer instincts, it might be best to stick to furry friends that bark. 😉
