Meet Appa—he’s more than just a pretty face!
He can be a little shy, but his curious and trusting nature will win out quickly. He’s starting to sleep part of the night at the foot of his fosters’ bed, and when he hears the alarm go off, he always rushes to greet her good morning.
When he’s not getting the attention he knows he deserves, he will walk between your feet until you acknowledge him. Then, he’ll roll around on the ground in excited anticipation of the scratches and pets! He loves batting and chasing springs and pom pom toys (and hair elastics, so be careful!), and has a specific meow to tell everyone that a toy is stuck out of reach. He tolerates being picked up, and has even allowed his front nails to be trimmed.
Appa got along with his foster home’s resident cats almost immediately, and while he would probably love a home with a resident cat, he would also be happy as the only cat in your home—that way, there’s no competition for lap time or attention!
