My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kei is an adorable female kitten who was surrendered by her owner on September 11, 2025 with her three siblings (Hana, Taro, and Turbo) and their mother (Seiko) along with several other cats who had shared their home. Kei and her siblings were 8-weeks old when they entered our shelter.

Kei has an orange tabby short smooth coat with a patch of white on her chest, white paws, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful kitten face with golden eyes, a white stripe on her nose/forehead, a pink nose, a white muzzle, and long white whiskers.

Kei was given vaccinations and Drontal wormer on September 16, 2025. She was given booster vaccines on October 7th and October 22nd 2025.

These photos of Kei were taken on October 15th while she posed for both 'portrait-style' pictures and also displayed her playful personality while batting around tiny toy balls. Kei has a sweet, affectionate disposition and loved attention during her 15-minutes of fame.

Kei and her siblings were separated from their mother shortly after their arrival since they were fully weaned. The kittens were paired up so that they could provide comfort/playtime for each other. Kei and her brother (Turbo) are sharing a cage. Her sisters Hana and Taro are cagemates.

Kei will be spayed in the near future (tentatively in November 2025) and will soon be ready to find a fabulous home. Naturally we'd love to see her adopted with her brother Turbo or another sibling/kitten.

Kei was spayed on November 3, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 5.04 lbs that day.

Happy Update: Kei and her brother Turbo were adopted together on December 21, 2025.
