Amber’s owner passed away a few weeks ago and now she needs a new forever loving home! Her owner was an avid animal lover and rescuer herself, and would be so happy to know her beloved babies went to a loving home. Amber is very sweet and good with other dogs and cats, as well as all kinds of people young and old. Nelly is a daughter to Amber and they are currently together. Nelly, the daughter, is much bigger than her mother. If they can be adopted together that would be ideal as they are bonded, but of course we understand that may not be possible or realistic. Adoption fee or dogs includes spay or neuter, up to date shots, dewormer, flea and tick treatment and rabies. Interview via phone or email questionnaire,home inspection and signature on adoption contract at time of application. This insures your commitment to the animal.

We set up individual meet and greets or small group with the rescue. It may be your home or a pre-defined meeting place, so you can see the interaction with the dog and your family and other pets and will know if he/she is a perfect match. Foster to adopt visits for up to 3 days are encouraged if you are interested but would like to see how they intect with family. This can be discussed with the rescue group Volunteer.
