(DOB 04/17/2025) Aphrodite is an adorable adolescent pup that is an absolute sweetheart with a heart full of love and legs full of energy! Aphrodite is all about playtime — whether it's chasing her doggy friends in the yard or trying (sometimes a bit too enthusiastically) to play tag with the resident cat. She doesn’t quite understand why kitties don’t love a good wrestle match, so she'd do best with a confident cat who isn’t stressed by playful puppy energy.
This girl is pining for a fenced-in yard where she can zoom and play to her heart’s content — she’s a high-energy pup who loves the outdoors and needs space to run. A playful canine sibling is also a must for Aphrodite! She’d be lost without a buddy to wrestle with and help her learn all the important doggy rules of the house.
Aphrodite is crate trained and doing great with her house manners, though she still needs supervision as she continues to work on potty training and leash walking. She thrives on routine and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time to help her stay on track and soak up all the attention she craves.
At the end of her busy day, Aphrodite’s wiggly little body finally settles down, and she becomes the ultimate cuddlebug. She adores snuggling into a cozy lap and soaking up all the love she can get. She’d be overjoyed to have some two-legged siblings too — human kiddos who want a loyal, playful companion to grow up with. Aphrodite is ready to bring boundless love, joy, and zoomies into the life of her forever family. If you’ve got a doggy playmate, a fenced yard, and lots of love to give, she just might be your perfect match!
As part of Aphrodite’s $325 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Aphrodite, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
