Danny is a happy and loving dog. He loves attention from people and belly rubs are his absolute favorite! Our volunteer team has been working hard with him, teaching basic obedience and getting him ready for the forever home he deserves. Danny is perfect and would love to be your new best friend!

When a dog is placed into our adoption program, it means they have shown friendly behavior toward people and other dogs, and no negative behaviors have been observed in our shelter environment.

If you already have a dog at home, we encourage you to bring them to the shelter for an official meet-and-greet to help ensure a smooth and happy introduction.

Additional adoption info

Arlington Animal Services adoption program is open to anyone wishing to adopt an animal. The adoption process is simple. You may visit the shelter or view our animals at www.arlingtontx.gov/animals. All pets are given initial vaccinations, appropriate testing (Heartworm or Cat Combo)and will be altered before releasing to their new home. Arlington residents are required to purchase a City license.
