My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lizzy is the definition of a cuddle bug. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be greeted by a feline hug, Lizzy is your gal. She loves to curl up in your lap, knead soft blankets like a little baker, and soak up all the love you’re willing to give.
Curious by nature, Lizzy is always eager to know what’s behind the door, so be mindful of where she is when you open it! She has an extremely playful side, so make sure you’ve got plenty of toys on hand to keep her entertained.
While Lizzy adores humans, she’s a bit cautious around other cats. She may growl defensively at first, but she never attacks. With time, patience, and kindness, she learns that she’s no longer competing for food or safety. Once she feels secure, she’ll happily play with her feline friends all day and night. She loves to sleep in her human foster brother’s bed at night, and she loves to snuggle with anyone who is willing!
Lizzy needs a home with someone who understands her journey and is ready to let her build trust at her own pace. If you have a cat who is calm, loving, and ready for a loyal snuggle buddy, Lizzy is waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

Georgina Feral Cat Committee was formed to address the community cat issue in the Town of Georgina. We practice Trap Neuter Return and any kittens are brought into foster homes to be tamed up for adoption. Ferals are returned to their colonies after they have been spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They are fed daily, provided with warm winter shelters and monitored for health
