Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet as her name, Candy-Corn is a gentle soul with kind eyes and a heart full of love. This shy girl takes her time warming up, but once she trusts you, she’ll melt into your arms for cuddles and quiet companionship. She moves at her own easy pace, enjoying calm walks and cozy naps more than the hustle and bustle of busy life.
Candy-Corn is a smart girl who already knows her basic commands and loves gentle encouragement. She would thrive in a patient, loving home that lets her blossom at her own speed. While we’re still getting to know how she feels about other dogs, she’s sure to be a wonderful best friend for someone who appreciates her sweet, steady nature.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’ll reward kindness with endless love, Candy-Corn is your girl. 💛

More about this shelter
Companions Animal Center is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants. Every day we receive numerous homeless animals. We shelter, feed, and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them.
As a "No-Kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum but rather are cared for until they can be placed.
Our Mission - is to focus all of our efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.
