What is Rehome?

We rescued Cassius at 1 YO. He is almost 5 now. He is a happy fellow and an amazing walking companion. He would be a great hunting dog but I do not hunt. He is intelligent and is a great watch dog. Doesn’t do well with small dogs which is our reason for finding him a new home. He went through a two week training program with Dog Wizard which taught him the following commands: come, place, sit, heel and down.
He is a loving companion but needs to be in a home where there are no other dogs. He does great with other dogs outside-enjoys other dogs when boarded. He loves to chase squirrels and deer. He likes the 3-5 mile walks I take him on every couple of days.
Breaks my heart to give him up but the Pomeranian we have is not a good combo.
