Once he checks things out and decides if you’re as nice as you look (spoiler alert: you are), you’ll see the transformation — tail wagging, eyes sparkling, and that goofy, lovable personality shining through! Silas is sweet, affectionate, and once he’s comfortable, he’s the kind of dog who will stick by your side with a happy heart. He’s a social butterfly at doggie daycare, where he loves playing like crazy with his friends. At just 35 pounds, he’s the perfect medium size — easy to snuggle, great for families, and always ready for adventure. And did we mention his stunning brindle coat? Silas isn’t just beautiful on the outside — he’s got the heart to match. He’s truly one of those dogs who just needs a little time to show you how special he really is.

Interview
If you are a good match for the animal you are requesting, a volunteer will call and interview you over the phone.
Meet the Pet
A meeting will be set up with your family, the pet, and the foster family. If successful, a vet and home check will be done.
