My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sandler`s Compatibility:
Dogs: Let`s meet!
Cats: TBD
Kids - Yes

Meet Sandler! He’s a senior sweetheart with a personality that will make you smile every day. He loves being near his people, often choosing to nap right at your feet instead of his own bed. When he’s ready for affection, he confidently asks for it, happily nudging for cheek scratches, ear rubs, or a full-body cuddle session.

Sandler still has bursts of joyful energy, especially when his favorite toys come out to play. He’s great on the leash, enjoys sniff-filled walks, and happily explores when it’s his time to shine. He’s also very food motivated, loves showing off tricks like “sit” and “shake,” and enjoys puzzles or snuffle mats. As a senior, he can’t hold it all day, but he’s housebroken and lets you know when he needs a bathroom break. With a little routine, he’s easy to manage and comfortable indoors.

This gentle senior is ready for a loving home where he can settle in, enjoy his people, and give all his love to a lucky family. His love is endless, and he’s patiently waiting to meet the family who will adore him.

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
