Artemisia is a 7-month-old, 27-pound Malinois mix who is bright, responsive, and deeply people oriented once she warms up.
She spent some time with a foster family, and they gave us a great report!
Artemisia settled happily in to her foster home within the first two days. She has endless puppy energy. She loves chasing balls and playing with her tug toy. She follows us everywhere, but once we settle on the couch or in bed, she is able to relax in a sunny spot and fall asleep. On her walks, she is curious about other dogs she sees across the street, but she follows our lead and stays close to us. She likes to help us in the garden, and will find ways to encourage you to play with her! It's very cute. She can be entertained for hours following us around and playing in the backyard, she truly loves to be with her humans.
She’s very smart and playful, she learned a few tricks very quickly. She will benefit from being adopted by someone with knowledge and experience with Malinois or similar breeds. She needs a lot of physical and mental stimulation before she is able to settle.
