Rex is a calm, affectionate 5-year-old cat who is ready to leave his difficult past behind and begin the next chapter of his life with a loving family. He was rescued from a hoarding situation after his owner passed away, spending an unknown amount of time trying to survive on his own. Despite his rough start, Rex has made a remarkable recovery thanks to excellent care in his foster home.
Rex is FIV-positive, which means his immune system is compromised and he should remain indoors only to stay safe and healthy. With proper care, FIV-positive cats can live long, full, and happy lives—and Rex is a shining example of that.
Rex has a wonderfully relaxed personality and loves people. His favorite place to be is in your lap, soaking up attention. He gets along very well with other cats and seems to be a calming presence among them. In fact, several cats in his foster home were rescued with him and are often found sitting by his crate just to be near him. He also lives with dogs and does well with those that are respectful and gentle.
Rex is a loving, low-maintenance companion with a heart full of affection. He is looking for a quiet, stable home where he can feel safe and cherished. If you're searching for a loyal companion to share your days with, Rex may be the perfect match.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue whose mission is to help unwanted animals in situations that could lead to harm or euthanasia. We primarily focus on animals with major medical illnesses, injuries or advanced age that are often overlooked and usually the first to be at risk of euthanasia. By partnering with shelters and the public, we promote responsible pet ownership, spay and neuter, and the adoption of special needs pets. It is our goal to save the un-savable!
