Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾 Meet Homer! 🐾 Approx. 2–3 years old | German Shepherd Mix | Neutered | Microchipped | Up to Date on Vaccines
Say hello to Homer — a handsome German Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality once he feels comfortable! Homer came to us as a stray with his friend Marge, so we don’t know much about his past — but one thing’s for sure, he’s ready for a loving new beginning . At first, Homer may be a little reserved while he checks out new people and surroundings, but once he warms up, his sweet, playful side shines through. He’s a smart boy who appears to be housetrained and doesn’t seem to be a big barker — always a nice bonus!
Homer recently had surgery to correct entropion, a condition that caused his eyelids to roll inward and irritate his eyes. He’s healing beautifully and feeling so much more comfortable now — ready to see the world clearly and enjoy life to the fullest!
He would do best in a home where he can continue to build confidence and get plenty of love, playtime, and guidance. If you have other dogs, a meet and greet is required to make sure everyone gets along. We’re not sure how he does with cats.
If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who’s ready to be your best buddy, Homer just might be your guy! 💙
