Zeus came to the rescue in 2022 severely abused, underweight and medically neglected. After a successful recovery, he was adopted by a woman who absolutely loved him, unfortunately his adopter became very ill and had to return Zeus to us in 2024. Zeus has a background in dressage, but also rides western. He absolutely does NOT like men due to his past trauma. Middle man on totem pole, integrates well in mixed herd. Prefers to NOT be stalled, but will tolerate it. He can NOT be tied for any reason, he will sit down and hurt himself to escape. REQUIRES EXPERIENCED FEMALE OWNER AND CARETAKER ONLY. A legally binding contract will accompany him for HIS protection. He has trust issues, and can be hard to catch in an open pasture. Absolutely NO barbed wire.
