My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My friends at Wayside say:
-I’m shy at first but full of love!
-I may need extra time to warm up in a home
-I would like a quiet home environment

Hi there, I’m Violet!

I’m a 1-year-old orange tabby girl with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give. I can be a bit shy when we first meet. I just like to take my time getting comfortable and figuring out that I’m safe. But once I know I can trust you, my sweet and affectionate side starts to shine through.

I’d be happiest in a calm, quiet home where I can relax and build my confidence at my own pace. I’ve lived with both cats and dogs before, and I did really well with them! Having friendly furry companions around can help me feel more at ease. However, I am completely fine being the only pet in the home.

I’m a sensitive, skittish girl who just needs someone patient and kind to remind me that the world isn’t such a scary place. With a little time and a lot of love, I promise I’ll become a loyal, loving friend who’s so grateful to have found a person to call her own. What do you say... are you ready to give a sweet girl like me a chance?

Love, Violet
