Meet this goofy and lovable boy named Cosmo! Cosmo originally came to us as his original owner sadly passed away. In his temporary home he was around large dogs and small dogs and did well with them. He lived with children ages 2y-8y and did well with them but is a bit big and doesn`t always know his own size due to his wiggle-butt. Cosmo has never met a stranger and loves to play with fuzzy squeaky toys and get all the attention and scratchies! If he is outside in a fenced in yard for long periods of time, he should be checked on as he does occasionally dig when left to his own devices. Cosmo is a smart boy and knows sit and shake! Some of Cosmo`s favorite activities include tug of war and fetch! In his most recent home, he was living with a small dog who he was said to try and play and hang out with but the other pup was not a fan of him so he is back with us. In his most recent home, he was in a fenced in yard and said to do fine with no issues, so the occasional supervision along with toys and enrichment, he should be fine. The previous adopter said he didn`t have any accidents after he picked up on the routine in the home after about a week, and that he is a super sweet boy who just wants to please and give you all the kisses and lovin! If Cosmo sounds like your type of boy, come meet him today!
Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving with you. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet.
