Meet Fables — a gentle soul with a story worth telling.
Fables came to us after being found on HWY A-12, bravely wandering alongside two younger puppies who looked to her for guidance. Even in the toughest moments, she stayed patient and protective. Since arriving at the ranch, she’s shown us exactly who she is: a quiet hero with a heart full of love.
This sweet girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a soft spot for playful pups. With people, she starts off a little shy — but once she trusts you, she blossoms. Fables just needs someone willing to move at her pace, offer kindness, and show her she’s finally safe.
Her absolute favorite thing in the world? Walks. The moment you pick up the leash, she lights up, wagging her whole body with joy. Out on the trail, she becomes her best self: confident, curious, and genuinely happy.

Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300
